Learning areas

A curriculum that grows with your child.

Every day is woven from intentional, developmentally-appropriate experiences — each area supporting the next.

01 · Area

Practical Life & Independence Skills

Everyday life is full of opportunities to grow. Our Practical Life area helps children build real-world skills that boost confidence and independence. Children engage in purposeful activities such as pouring, cutting, pasting, buttoning, tying shoes, and practicing polite social behavior.

02 · Area

Language & Literacy

Children build vocabulary and oral language through storytelling and discussion, phonics and letter sound awareness, and early writing practice. Our dual emergent approach celebrates both English and Spanish, laying a strong bilingual foundation.

03 · Area

Math & Numeracy

Number sense grows through hands-on learning centers, manipulatives, and games. Children explore counting, sorting, patterns, shapes, measurement, and early addition at a pace that's appropriate for their developmental stage.

04 · Area

Science & Discovery

From plants and weather to simple experiments and sensory bins, our science area invites children to wonder, ask, and discover. Teachers guide observation and reflection so each question becomes a lesson.

05 · Area

Art & Creativity

Painted hands, drawing time, clay, collage, and open-ended materials give children a daily outlet for self-expression. We celebrate the process, not the product — and send plenty of masterpieces home.

06 · Area

Social & Emotional Growth

Circle time, guided play, and gentle teacher coaching help children practice taking turns, naming feelings, resolving small conflicts, and building friendships. These are the skills that shape the rest of their lives.

07 · Area

Outdoor & Active Play

Our dedicated indoor and outdoor spaces are equipped for active play — running, climbing, riding, and sensory movement. Children need to move, and they do so freely, safely, and every day.

Music & Movement

Music lives in every corner of the day. Circle songs, Spanish rhymes, rhythm instruments, and movement games build coordination, memory, and community — while bringing joy to every morning.
